3ina Cosmetics Review!

Ok so recently I stumbled across a brand of makeup which I haven't seen nor heard of before, called 3INA (pronounced MINA). The brand was created by Pablo Rivera and Mark Eve. They Launched their first ever UK store in February of this year in Covent Garden, London. They also have stores in Melbourne, Athens, Milan and Malta.
I picked up a few products to try and test as I was very intrigued by this new brand. The staff inside the store were very helpful and very informative. They were able to offer lots of information on the products and could recommend their best sellers and their personal favourite products.

I love the packaging of the products. They are all very similar and follow a specific look which I found very aesthetically pleasing!!

The first product I picked up was a Longwear Liquid Lipstick in the shade 505. It is a red / mauve shade with pink undertones. I have been loving colours like this lately. This shade stood out to me as soon as I saw the collection. The lipstick glides on like a gloss and dries like a long wearing lipstick. I'm really impressed with this so far!! This lipstick retails at £7.95. Also, scent heaven alert!!! Smells like a dream!!

Next up is the Lip Pencil. I love love love this lip liner. glides on your lips but isn't too creamy which allows you to get a precise line. also has a brush at the other end of the liner to blend the edges out if you want a less dramatic look. The liner retails at £2.95.

The Automatic Eye Pencil retails at £6.95. I don't usually go for eye pencils as I prefer the look that a liquid liner gives although have been impressed with this liner! can be used both in the lid and the waterline and stays for a rather long time.

I then went to look at the eyeshadows and this caught my attention. (obviously, its shimmery!!!) The shade is 113 and is a gorgeous dusty gold colour. It is extremely pigmented and has a very good pay off. These eyeshadows retail at £6.95.

Finally I picked up a nail varnish in the shade 129. It's a sweet baby pink colour. I did expect this to be quite watery as it retails at just £4.95 but surprisingly one coat does the trick!!

Overall I am so impressed with this brand and the quality of their products. I will definitely be expanding my collection in the near future. If you want to check their products out head over to http://3ina.com or if you're near Covent Garden make sure you check it out!!

Hope you're all good :) xoxo

Kylie Cosmetics Review & Swatches!!

Over the last couple of months I've managed to build up a little multitude of Kylie Jenner lip products. I bought a couple of shades originally, but they weren't my favourite ones (they were always sold out) so over time I managed to collect all the shades that I liked as well as her lip glosses.
(From left to right: So cute, Literally, Like, Koko K, Candy K, Dolce K, Posie K, True brown K, 22)

The Lip Kits retail at $29 each. As I live in England I did have to pay $15 for shipping and an extra customs charge so beware of this before you buy them (they end up being quite pricey if you don't live in the US)

The Lip Kits come in a black and white box which matches the dripping design that is found on her products. I did find though that as the box is so distinctive that this could cause problems with theft and products going missing. The boxes were secured with a single piece of tape which I also thought was a bit disappointing (luckily my products were still in tact when I received them). They also come with a hand written note from Kylie which I thought was a really nice touch.

The first shade I managed to get hold of was 22. It isn't one of my favourites but was the only shade that hadn't sold out when I managed to check out. It is a vibrant burnt orange shade. The first Thing I noticed when I opened the liquid lipstick was the sweet vanilla cupcake like smell. THEY JUST SMELL SO GOOD.

I lined my lips with the matching lipliner and was very shocked at how creamy and easy it was to apply. However, as it is such a creamy consistency, I imagine that it can be very easy to over-line your lips (trout pout alert!!) I then applied the liquid lipstick and was very impressed with how opaque it was. One swipe of product completely covered my lips.
The product took about a minute to fully dry, and after about 10 minutes, felt like I had nothing on my lips!
I found that the product is a bit drying but is expected from a matte product. I wore the lipstick all afternoon (i ate and had a drink too) and the product was very much still on my lips! I have since found that applying lip balm before the product makes my lips less dry throughout the day.

After my love for my first Kylie lip kit, I decided that I wanted to try another shade. Once again the website was over-loaded but I managed to grab a lip kit in 'True Brown K' which is a deep chocolate brown shade, a true brown (funnily enough!)

I was again very impressed with the creaminess of the liner and how opaque the colour was on my lips. I did however find that this shade was slightly more transferable and did wear off quicker than 22 (probably due to it being such a dark shade).

The next launch of Kylie's is where my obsession for these products became very clear and quite frankly out of control. I thought that adding all the shades to my basket would be quicker than selecting the ones I wanted one at a time, so that's what I did. I somehow managed to check out super quickly with 4 lip kits and 3 lip glosses (don't ask me how).

Before I knew it I had paid $175 for some lips products. This is when I realised I had a problem with buying excess amounts of products instead of just one. I think it was sheer panic that I wouldn't get one so ended up with 7 more.

I wasn't disappointed though!!
The shades I received next were Koko K - a pale, pinky nude shade (One of my favourite shades)

Candy K - a soft, warm nude shade (my other current favourite shade)

Dolce K - a medium, beige nude shade

Posie K - a dusty, mauve pink shade

My favourite out of these shades are Koko K & Candy K. They are both the perfect nude shades for my skin tone. I don't feel as though I can pull off Dolce K or Posie K but the colours are still extremely pretty and they are all so well pigmented and creamy.

I also received the 3 lip glosses in the shades, Like, Literally and So Cute. They came with a little note from kylie too.  I was stunned though at how pigmented and opaque they are for lip glosses and have never owned a lipgloss like it before. they aren't sticky either which is a bonus as its one of my biggest pet hates when it comes to lip glosses.

The lightest shade is So Cute. I don't think this shade looks that good on my skin tone. It sort of looks like I'm wearing concealer on my lips.

The middle shade is called Literally (the best match for my skin tone)

The darkest shade is 'Like'

My favourite shade of gloss is 'literally' as I've found it to match my skin tone really well.
I am in love with these products and cannot urge you enough to try them out if you can afford them.

Oh, and heres a lil swatch of the colours :)

Matte Battle!

Matte liquid lipsticks have taken 2016 by storm. I have gathered a few different brands of liquid lipsticks to compare the consistencies, durabilities and pigmentation.

(From left to right: Revlon Devotion, Revlon Seduction, MAC Rich & Restless, Bourjois Cool Brown, Bourjois Peach Club, Bourjois Nude-ist, Bourjois Don't Pink Of It!, Kylie Jenner 22, Kylie Jenner True Brown K)

The Revlon ULTRA HD MATTE LIP COLOUR lipsticks retail at £8.99.
These lip colours are very watery and don't really dry too matte. That being said, the colours are really stunning and as they don't try too matte they aren't drying on the lips. I would recommend these products although I wouldn't consider them to be a matte lip product.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip Colours Retail at £21.
This product was extremely pigmented and not too watery. The product glided on the lips effortlessly and dried very matte. The only downside to this product is that as it did dry so matte, it did start to crumble after a while and was very drying on the lips.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipsticks retail at £8.99.
These products were slightly more pigmented and opaque than the Revlon lip colours, although didn't dry very matte. The colours however were very complimentary and weren't too drying on the lips. The darker shades had a better and slightly thicker consistency whereas the lighter shades seemed more watery.

Kylie Jenner Lip Kits retail at $29 (£20.49)
These products are my favourite out of all 4 brands of liquid lipstick that I reviewed. The colours are insanely pigmented and even though the product seemed very watery, glided on the lips effortlessly and dried very quickly. They dry very matte (the most out of all products) and are extremely long wearing.

After swatching them I could see the higher-end products were much more matte and much more pigmented (not much of a shocker)
I would recommend all four products, although if you're looking able to spend a little bit more on a longer lasting and a proper matte finish product, I would recommend the MAC lip colours or the Kylie Lip Kit.

Hope you're all having a lovely spring :)

My 2015 Best Bits!

2015 was a crazy year and I learnt so much. There were a few things that really stood out to me when thinking about the last 12 months.

I flew to Montpellier in France with one of my closest friends to see Katy Perry. The whole trip was incredible and the show was the perfect end to a perfect little holiday.

I got another dog!!!
Cooper (the little blonde one) joined Ralph (the big brown one) and our family this year. He is the sweetest puppy in the world and I love them both very much!!

I lost loads of weight!!
I managed to lose over 3 stone in 2015! Still have a way to go but have certainly made lots of progress. Feeling very happy with myself and very determined to keep going in 2016!

I went to disneyland!
Me and another one of my closest friends went on a little girly trip to Paris in December. I had the most amazing time and certainly didn't want to come home!! We are already considering planning our trip for this year!!

I am very optimistic about what 2016 is going to bring. Onwards and upwards! Hope you all had a lovely new year!

Top of the mornin'

I decided to re-vamp my blog. I didn't like the overall look of the blog and as I didn't know how to change it I just gave up with the whole thing completely.
Over the festive season I have been reading so many blogs and watching so many videos and I have been re-inspired.
I cannot wait to get this fully up and running!! Please be patient, posts will be coming soon!
